Chem Sources Advertising Terms and Conditions.
1. Chem Sources-USA is published annually in January of each year. Chem Sources
-International is published in the first quarter on a biennial publication
schedule.
2. Closing Dates: Chem Sources-USA camera ready copy to be received by September
15th, payment must be received by September 1st. Chem Sources-International
camera ready copy to be received by January 1st, payment must be received by
December 15th.
3. Cancellations: No cancellations accepted after closing dates. Contracts may
be cancelled by advertiser or publisher on written notice 30 days in advance
of closing date.
4. Orders and Correspondence: All insertion orders and correspondense pertaining
to advertising should be addressed to:

5. Agency Commision: 15% of gross billings allowed to agencies on ad-space only.
6. Rate Protection: Proper notification will be given of any rate change.
Space orders may be cancelled at the time of the change without incurring any penalties.
7. Copy and Contract Regulations:
a. The publisher reserves the right to reject any advertising that does not conform to publication standards.
b. Publisher is not responsible for errors in key numbers or in Advertiser's Index.
c. Publisher reserves the right to place the word Advertisement with copy which, in the publisher's opinion, resembles editorial matter.
d. In the event of non-payment, publisher shall hold advertiser and/or its advertising agency
jointly and separately liable for all monies due and payable, including all collection and legal
costs necessary to obtain payment.
e. Where applicable, state sales tax on advertising space will be the responsibility of the advertiser.
8. Specifications:
a. Publication trim size 8-1/2 in. wide x 11 in. deep, no bleeds.
b. Standard advertising units, Page is 2 columns 3-1/2 in. wide x 9-1/2 in. deep.
c. Method of printing offset web, color-black both sides. (one over one)
d. Binding. Hard case bound.
e. Paper stock, 40#
9. Requirements for artwork and ad layout:
a. Camera ready black and white, size to fit, on 8-1/2 in. x 11 in. single sheet. (2 page spreads also single sheets required.)
b. Screens, 120 line screen recommended, 133 line screen acceptable.
c. One proof will be furnished free of charge in time for approval, provided deadlines are met.
d. Contact publisher for ad placement location and any further instruction that may be required.
