registered trade name and title for our series of chemical buyer's guides. Our
company is incorporated under the name of Chemical Sources International, Inc.
Is Chem Sources a new company? No, although we have changed our name from Directories Publishing Co. in
1990, we have been publishing Chem Sources for FIFTY years, since 1958!
How is Chem Sources DIFFERENT from other similar directories? One big difference is
the number of commercial chemicals we list and have
sources for - over 300,000 unique chemicals, with more than 173,000 CAS
Registry Numbers®, 25,000 Trade Names, 8000
companies, spanning 135 countries. You will also find our
subscription prices are quite modestly priced compared to most other
services.
How can Chem Sources benefit your company? Chem Sources can benefit your company in two ways.
First, if you are a chemical purchaser, Chem Sources provides you with one easy to use
reference tool, the equivalent of
thousands of company catalogs, thus saving you much time. Also, by providing multiple sources, Chem Sources

Second, if you are a chemical supplier or producer, listing your products in Chem Sources gives you maximum

What kinds of chemicals can I find? You can find most chemicals commercially produced. Some examples are:

How can I list my products with Chem Sources? To be included, please
go to Add Your
Company or send us
an alphabetical listing of chemicals your company produces with CAS registry
numbers. If you are new to Chem
Sources, you can send your company product catalog (preferably on
electronic media). If you already list with us, please return the listing we send to
you each year for updating purposes. Be sure to include directory information that includes sales offices and telecommunication
information. We also need a contact person within your organization that would be responsible for updating your listing each
year. Again, your information is published completely free-of-charge. All we ask is that you send us current
and concise information.
What is the deadline for submitting my products to Chem Sources? The deadline for getting your products
published in Chem Sources-USA is June 15. However, you may submit your listing any time to get it published in our
online database or CD-ROM product. These products are updated monthly.
When do the NEW Chem Sources products come out? The USA print edition is
distributed in January each year. The International print edition is published
biennially and distributed in May of even numbered years. Subscriptions
to the International Online and CD may be purchased any time and still
have up-to-date information. The Chem Sources database is updated
continuously.
What is the difference between the USA and International Editions? The USA edition covers all Chemical
Companies in the United States and Canada. The International volume includes
information found in the USA edition plus all other
participating chemical companies from among 135 countries throughout the world.
How can I order a Chem Sources directory? There are several ways to order Chem Sources products. Telephone
orders are taken if paying by credit card. American Express, VISA and MasterCard
are accepted. Prepayment is
required on all orders. There is also a form which can be downloaded off
this site and sent by mail with your payment. You may order directly from
our website also. Chem Sources has a secure server and is registered
with VeriSign.
Can I get a discount? Chem Sources offers a 25% Standing Order discount. You must purchase the first directory at
FULL price, then every year following, a 25% discount will be
applied to the published price.
What platforms does the CDROM run on? Any PC running Windows 95
+ (up to the most current Windows Vista version). Network
versions are also available. No Macintosh CD's...Sorry!
Is Chem Sources available online? Absolutely. Registered Online
Subscriptions are the best value knowing you will always have the
most current information. Our online search engine makes chemical sourcing
simple. You
can search the chemical database free of charge to see if a specific
product is listed after a quick registration process. You must buy a
subscription to view supplier information.
Can I advertise with Chem Sources? Most certainly. Get the most for your money when advertising with Chem
Sources. Since Chem Sources is an annual publication, your advertising dollars go further than it would in a weekly or
monthly magazine and in some cases for only a fraction of the cost!

printed edition is September 1. There is no deadline for Online
